Quality Assurance Tester Full-time and/or Part-time

We are looking for a quality assurance tester who can plan and execute detailed oriented test plans. Responsibilities will include reviewing scope and design documents to ensure bug-free quality software. You will work alongside developers and software architects to ensure all products maintain a quality standard. An ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, passion for software, and strive for perfection. This position is for motivated individuals that want to learn and be part of a very creative team.

We are looking for full-time (40 hours a week) and/or part-time candidates, 20 hours a week. (Part-time may morph into a full-time position.) This candidate must have strong internet experience, working knowledge and understanding of social media. You must be willing to do "hands-on" testing with or without testing software. You must be willing to do all kinds of tasks, whatever needs doing, as we are small but growing, and each member of our staff has multi-dimensional responsibilities. You must be willing to volunteer to do tasks not strictly listed in a job description.

Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be willing to learn. Candidates must be fully literate and competent on computers and internet applications, as well as good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Review design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual software.
  • Ensure all software meet functional, design, and bug-free requirements.
  • Perform reviews, walkthroughs, and/or inspections.
  • Proactively identify and report all QA issues and report said issues to developers and project managers.
  • Participate in weekly progress and planning meetings.
  • Document any anomalies, bugs, and issues in an organized, detailed manner.
